There is no problem affecting the sequential solidification of the casting and the feeding can be carried out smoothly. Investment casting should avoid large planes as far as possible, because a large plane is easy to produce sand, depression, and other surface defects, so the plane on the casting should be less than 200×200 mm. The maximum plane of the casting is 24×70 mm.

Whether the casting structure is reasonable has a great influence on the casting quality, the feasibility and simplicity of the production process, and the production cost. The structure of investment castings shall conform to the production characteristics of investment casting.
