Precision Metal Casting Services Since 2000 | Three Specialized Foundries in China

Welcome to JOC Machinery's metal casting division. We are a leading enterprise dedicated to providing precision metal casting solutions for industrial applications worldwide. With three specialized foundries and over 20 years of expertise, we deliver high-quality cast components to more than 40 countries.

In industrial manufacturing, metal casting is a fundamental process for creating complex metal parts. We understand that the quality and precision of cast components are essential for ensuring performance and reliability in demanding applications. Therefore, we are committed to providing superior casting services using advanced technologies and strict quality control procedures.

Understanding Metal Casting Processes

Metal casting is a manufacturing process where molten metal is poured into a mold cavity containing a hollow shape of the desired product. As the metal cools and solidifies, it takes the shape of the mold cavity, creating a cast part that can be further processed through machining, heat treatment, or surface finishing.

Investment Casting (Lost Wax Casting)

Investment casting, also known as lost wax casting, produces highly accurate metal parts with excellent surface finishes. This process begins with creating wax patterns, assembling them into a tree structure, coating with ceramic slurry, and melting out the wax to form a hollow mold. Molten metal is then poured into the mold, and after cooling, the ceramic shell is broken to reveal the cast parts.

Die Casting

Die casting involves forcing molten metal under high pressure into reusable metal molds (dies). This process produces dimensionally accurate parts with smooth surfaces and excellent mechanical properties. Our die casting capabilities include both hot chamber and cold chamber processes.

Ideal for: High-volume production, thin-walled parts, complex shapes

Materials: Aluminum, zinc, magnesium, copper alloys

Tolerance capabilities: ±0.1mm

Weight range: 0.05kg to 10kg

Sand Casting

Sand casting uses sand molds to form metal parts. The process involves creating a pattern, forming a mold using sand, removing the pattern, pouring molten metal, and breaking the sand mold after solidification. Our advanced sand casting techniques allow for producing large, complex components with good dimensional accuracy.

Ideal for: Large components, low to medium production volumes

Materials: Cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel, aluminum, bronze

Tolerance capabilities: ±0.5mm

Weight range: 1kg to 500kg

Lost Foam Casting

Lost foam casting is our specialty at our Nanjing facility. This process uses foam patterns that are coated with refractory material, embedded in sand, and replaced by molten metal during pouring. The foam vaporizes as the metal enters the mold, creating complex castings with minimal parting lines.

Ideal for: Complex internal passages, reduced assembly requirements

Materials: Gray iron, ductile iron, aluminum alloys

Tolerance capabilities: ±0.3mm

Weight range: 0.5kg to 100kg
